About Me

Aloha! Welcome to Fourth Grade! I have been teaching now for over 20 years.  I love what I do and I hope the kids can feel that each and every day.  My class is a Hawaiian theme because I love the beach and water.  We incorporate the aloha vibe into our daily learning.  It is not only a greeting but a way of life.  

Teaching Philosophy

All children can learn.  I believe in the Power of Yet.  We may not know how to do things…..yet….but with perseverance and the right attitude, we will be able to do amazing things.

Upon leaving elementary school, ALL students at Blue Oaks Elementary will exemplify the six pillars of character and be prepared to successfully complete any 6th-grade course.
