Welcome to Transitional Kindergarten at Cirby Elementary School. 

After teaching for over 3 decades, I still strive to nurture every child’s ability to reach their greatest potential. Cirby School transitional kindergarten offers all students a safe environment where they can build a strong foundation to become a kind, respectful, motivated member of our community.

Current TK Families: Please check our live class calendar and classroom links often during April and May so you do not miss any special spring events.  Mark your calendars:

Thursday, April 18 – TK/K performance in the MPR at 6:00pm.  Please drop your child off in our room at 5:30 wearing a plain white shirt and jeans or plain black pants.

Tuesday, April 23 – Field Trip to Exploration Center - Wear your BLUE field trip shirt!

Friday, May 10 – Field Trip to Blue Line Art Gallery - Wear your BLUE field trip shirt!

Thursday, May 21 – Open House at 6:00 in our classroom.  Please come to this special night for your child to show you all they have learned!

Thursday, May 30 – TK Promotion Ceremony at 8:00am in the library.  Please drop off your child in our room at 7:45 before you go find a seat.  Remember all adults must check in through the office before going to the library.  Per our school policy: No balloons or flowers please.  Thank you for saving those special items to greet and celebrate your child at home.

Friday, May 31 – Your first day of summer vacation!
