About Me: I am a teacher at the beginning of my teaching career with a passion for learning and growth! I graduated from Chico State with a major in Liberal Studies and a minor in Child Development. I have been teaching since 2013 in Chico and 2015 in Roseville. I enjoy crocheting, watching movies, baking, or spending time with my friends and family! I am grateful to be at Riego Creek working with an excellent staff, and with such wonderful students.

Welcome to the 2020-21 school year, Chilton Bobcats! This is my 13th year teaching middle school, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! I love reading, exercising, animals, and hanging out with my family. My name is Stacie Starr and I’m so excited for the 2023/2024 school year. I have taught in Roseville for the last 13 years at Spanger, Buljan Middle School, and now Westbrook. I have been a teacher for over 22 years. I started in special education before moving to general education 10 years ago. I look forward to getting to know my students, creating a positive school culture, improving community involvement, and making memories. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids.
